Friendly Competition

Ok - No competition but she would be if she were still in Central Michigan! :-) Meet Traci of Traci Falder Photography. She and Mike are great friends of ours who lived here a few years back and when she left neither one of us knew of the business world that we would be entering together in separate states. They came back last weekend for a visit and of course for a trade off in Christmas family photos. These are some of the shots I got of their beautiful bunch. And just know that she got some rockstar shots of Wes and I but do you think my kids wanted any part of a family session??? No Way!!!!! Sorry Traci.

First of the Fall

This young lady was determined to have fall senior pictures taken versus the typical summer time shots. And I'm so glad she did. We were cold and she maybe shivered herself into a cold but anything for a fabulous photograph right? One more Central Michigan knock out right here on mollybeaphotography.com Enjoy your sneak peek, girl.

...But the Greatest of These is LOVE.

It just warmed my heart right up, despite the chill in the air, to photograph this loving couple and their family a couple weeks ago.  I saw something so very sweet in the interaction between Mom and Dad.  You could see a true friendship, there were no inhibitions, lots of love, and sensitivity between the two of them.  I have a feeling that these images will be a treasure for this family for many years to come.

Fall Family

It is a gorgeous time of year in Michigan right now. The leaves are all turning and the rich, warm color is everywhere. I need to take as many pictures as possible right now so that when April comes and it is still snowing, I can look back and remember why I like this state so much. It was a beautiful day to capture this beautiful family. A gorgeous mom with the 4 handsome men in her life. They recently moved to their new home so I was able to capture the personality of their family among the landscape of their beloved home. It was quite difficult for me to narrow this post down. With such a beautiful property, I had more than enough from which to choose. My hope is that these 2009 fall pictures are treasured for many years to come.
Enjoy!

Expecting Great Things to Come

A friend of mine is expecting soon so we finally set aside time for some beautiful belly shots before the big day arrives. I just love capturing the love. The boys were so sweet and even Daddy was game for whatever! Hope you treasure these Erin, and I can hardly wait to get my hands and lens on that baby!
